Litigation and Arbitration

Candidly, we are better known for our business and tax planning than as a litigation firm. But in the few cases each year we accept, we have been blessed to get pleasing results for our clients, generally through negotiated settlements after winning a few preliminary motions or filing counter-claims. We have handled very complex cases involving alleged breaches of covenants-not-to-compete, disputes over managing a large business, disputes over using driveways, and contracts to make a will.

We also know which cases to refer out to others who have more experience in certain areas, but often we remain involved in a limited role and can have a positive impact on strategies, settlements, and holding down costs.
